Head Coach - Level 4. I joined my first tennis club at 11 years old and immediately enjoyed playing. I soon began competing in junior tournaments and progressed to a good level. Over the years I won competitions at District, County, Regional and National level. During my junior years I represented Yorkshire’s junior teams and played Senior County from 16 years old. I finished junior tennis ranked number 1 in Yorkshire and number 10 in the country. Following junior tennis I moved to London to coach and was fortunate enough to work alongside some of the Country’s top coaches. During this period I coached a number of high level junior players, some of whom went on to play at County, National and International level. In 1998 I moved back North to coach at ‘The Academy Harrogate’. I then joined Ripon Tennis Centre in 2001 as Head Coach.
Tennis Coach - Level 4. After qualifying as a coach, Olivier worked at Lewes Lawn Tennis Club in East Sussex for years. During this time he was responsible for the under 14 years county team and played a key role in their promotion to division 1 and also worked with 14 to 18 year olds at a number of schools including the famous Roedean School in Brighton. Following on from this he went into a partnership at Maresfield Tennis Club where he was co-founder of Le Tennis. Le Tennis was the first club in the UK to receive the title of Performance Centre for an outdoor club and was well recognised for their mini-tennis programme for 5 to 10 year olds. At this time Olivier also worked extensively with East Sussex County players competing in tournaments in the UK and France. io years ago Olivier moved to Yorkshire to take up the role of Head Coach at Doncaster Tennis Club and subsequently relocated to the Harrogate area and has been at Ripon Tennis Centre for the last years.
