Head Coach - Level 4. I joined my first tennis club at 11 years old and immediately enjoyed playing. I soon began competing in junior tournaments and progressed to a good level. Over the years I won competitions at District, County, Regional and National level. During my junior years I represented Yorkshire’s junior teams and played Senior County from 16 years old. I finished junior tennis ranked number 1 in Yorkshire and number 10 in the country. Following junior tennis I moved to London to coach and was fortunate enough to work alongside some of the Country’s top coaches. During this period I coached a number of high level junior players, some of whom went on to play at County, National and International level. In 1998 I moved back North to coach at ‘The Academy Harrogate’. I then joined Ripon Tennis Centre in 2001 as Head Coach.
